Connective tissue release
A quieter approach to hands-on care.

Care, with room to ask.
Connective tissue release is offered alongside Kinetic Chain Release. Dora explains the hands-on approach, positioning and pressure so you know what the session involves.
The session uses hands-on contact with positioning and pressure explained beforehand. Your consent and comfort guide the care; you can request lighter contact, a pause or a change of position.
What to expect
- An explanation of Dora’s approach
- Contact and positioning discussed with you
- Included with KCR where appropriate
A little understanding
CTR accompanies KCR where appropriate. Some people find hands-on care restful or more comfortable, but effects vary and permanent changes to fascia or organ function are not established.
Your session begins with a discussion of suitability and comfort. Complementary therapies support wellbeing alongside appropriate medical care.
Connective tissue release: your questions.
Is CTR the same as myofascial release?
The terms overlap in their attention to soft tissue, but do not describe identical methods. At this practice, CTR is the approach offered alongside KCR; myofascial release is a broader term used by other hands-on systems.
Is connective tissue release included with KCR?
Yes. CTR is included with KCR where appropriate, without a separate listed charge. The contact and areas involved are explained before treatment.
Can CTR treat a sports injury?
No injury cure or rehabilitation outcome is promised. Explain your diagnosis and clinical advice before arranging bodywork.
Will CTR permanently change my fascia?
A permanent change is not established. Some people find hands-on contact restful or notice a change in comfort, but that does not prove a lasting structural change to fascia.
Can I choose to stop or avoid an area?
Yes. Agree boundaries, pressure and positioning; you can request a pause or stop any part of a session.
Can I book CTR on its own?
CTR is offered alongside KCR where appropriate. The listed appointment is a KCR session at £50, or £140 for three sessions; there is no separate standalone CTR booking price.
